Q: What is a Zine?
A: A zine (pronounced “zeen,” like “magazine”) is a self-published, small circulation, non-commercial booklet or magazine, usually produced by one person or a few individuals.
Q: How will you choose guests and contributors for your zine?
A: We will select guests and contributors based on our IC feedback and Application responses.
Q: How many contributors will you have?
A: Contributor selections will be determined based off recommendations and feedback collected in our Interest Check.
Q: Can minors participate?
A: All participants MUST be 18+.
Q: Is the zine SFW or NSFW?
A: We will determine zine content based on responses from our Interest Check.
Q: Will Saddle Up be a physical or digital release?
A: We will determine whether or not Saddle Up will be a physical or digitial only release based on feedback from our Interest Check.
Q: Is Saddle Up Zine for-profit?
A: Yes, Saddle Up with be a for-profit project.

General Guidelines
All participants must be 18+.
Saddle Up is a cowboy, western, stockshow and rodeo themed zine. Content will be expected to be based on the relationship of BKDKBK within these themes.
Contributors are not allowed to discuss spoilers of Zine progress or content outside of the server until publication. Screenshots of content/discussions in the zine server are prohibited.
Contributors must submit work on time and follow schedule guidelines and comply with check ins. Communication will be made utilizing the zine server and contributor private channels. If contributors don't maintain contact and don't respond to check ins or mod inquiries, they may be considered dropped.
All works must be original and made to fit the theme of the zine. Previous works will not be allowed to be modified to use for the zine. AI generated content/Plagiarism/discovery of stolen works will also not be tolerated.
Please be kind and respectful to one another. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and we encourage you to express them BUT do so respectfully. No hate or bullying of any kind will be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to insults, harassment, racism, slurs, inappropriate comments, using nicknames to hurt others, spamming, etc.
Opinions, views and posts made by the mods and participants outside this server does not reflect the zine itself. However, we will not tolerate any of the above examples should it create a hostile environment during zine production for our mods and participants.
Writer Guidelines
Writers are responsible for producing an original, complete written work, featuring a Cowboy/Western theme with a min word count of 1500 words and max word count of 3000 words.
FIC SPECIFICATIONS:
Readable font like Serif at 12pt
Left aligned, 1.5 line spacing with no indentations.
Add a space after your paragraph.
Use 3 dashes (-) for scene breaks
At the beginning of your document, please include:
Title
Name to credit
Your Discord Tag
Content and Trigger Warning Tags
Spelling and Grammar: American and British English spelling & grammar is permitted.
Place all punctuation within quotes.
Only use one space after a period.
When using an ellipses, place a space between each period. (Ex. " . . ." vs "...")
Artist Guidelines
Artist are responsible for producing an original, full body, full color piece with a simple background revolving around a Cowboy/Western theme
